Watch salmon leaping up the falls, while brown bears compete with each other for the best fishing spots. The largest and most successful bears can catch and eat more than 30 salmon (over 120 pounds) per day! Bears are most abundant at Brooks Falls in late June and July during the sockeye salmon migration, but also keep an eye out for bald eagles, lots of gulls, and maybe even the occasional wolf trying to partake in the salmon buffet. 🤍
Watch Africam Tembe Elephant Park - LIVE Situated in an area that was once the ancient ‘Ivory Route' linking Mozambique and Zululand, Tembe Elephant Park is renowned for having the largest elephants in Africa – and the planet! The park is remote, lying deep in the sand forests and wetlands in northern Tongaland, right on the border between KwaZulu-Natal and Mozambique. Along with seeing these gentle giants, you can also spot the rest of the Big Five – lion, leopard, black and white rhino and buffalo. There is also the tiniest antelope, the Suni, and a spectacular variety of animals and over 340 bird species. The park consists mainly of closed woodland but offers a great diversity of vegetation, lying within a transition area between tropical and sub-tropical forms. The camera is situated on the hide at one of the waterholes in the area. Snuggle up up and relax with baby sloths in Sloth Preschool at Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica! Watch as they take naps, snuggle in their buckets, go for an adventurous climb, and even get fed by our caretakers! Usually live between 7am PT to 3pm PT. Toucan Rescue Ranch has always been extremely thoughtful and meticulous about the animals that we announce to the world. This is because the animals that you see at our center are all rescue cases - usually coming from serious situations such as traffic accidents, electrocution from power lines, illegal pet trade (suffering from malnutrition, abuse, and so forth), and other serious issues such as deforestation. With all of this in mind, everyone must understand that each animal in our care is recovering from said incidents. When you are watching Sloth Preschool, you are watching animals who are in a nursery hospital. This means that all sloths are undergoing some form of treatment and are under 24/7 care. Many of the orphans we care for may have lung issues, underdeveloped organs, and the list is exhaustive. All cases require a veterinarian and a very detailed treatment plan based on their condition. With that being said, we have always had a rule to not announce an animal until we knew they were stable and strong. However, the difference of Explore.org and Sloth TV, is that you are getting an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at animals that are in sometimes, intensive care. So, sadly, due to this, together, we may experience the death of an animal - even doing everything in our absolute power to save them... sometimes nature has another plan in store. Best Viewing Hours: 6-9 a.m. and 5 to 8 p.m CT The International Wolf Center advances the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to wild lands and the human role in their future. The Center knows the world needs clear and thoughtful presentation of the facts and issues involved with wolves. The study of wolf survival continues to include the study of human tolerance. It is hard for people to tolerate or to respect what they are raised to fear. The wolf problem is a people problem. We need everyone’s help to solve it. This camera overlooks a pack of wolves living at the International Wolf Center in northern Minnesota. The pack includes four ambassador wolves: Axel, Grayson, Denali, and Bolz. From the north side of the wolf enclosure you can watch as the wolves interact, eat, and travel through 1.25 acres, which includes two dens, a filtered pond and a forested area. Even in captivity wolves can be elusive so if you don’t spot them right away, look closely in the background under the trees. Your patience will be rewarded. Love Animals and Nature? Oryginalna informacja z fb - Raptor Resource Projekt "The goslings jumped today! We'll have video tomorrow, but for now, we know that: - Four of five goslings survived and were last seen swimming happily in Trout Creek, foraging along the bank, and following their parents up and down the small pool below the nest. - One of the four went the wrong way after jumping! We managed to reunite it with its family after some mad scrambling through the brush, a low crawl across the river bank, and a little rock jumping. This gosling seemed determined to stay with new Papa David Kester: it took two tries to get it back where it belonged! - One gosling died. We initially thought it might have been the last to jump, since it was younger and smaller than its siblings and took a while to follow them out of the nest. But the gosling we reunited with its family was smaller than the one we found dead. We suspect (but don't know for sure), that the reunited gosling was the last gosling, and the gosling that died was gosling number two. One, three, and four joined their parents quickly, but we don't think we saw two after it jumped " Bernikla kanadyjska (Branta canadensis). The West End Eagles nest was unattended and Ravens took their opportunity to break two of the eggs and eat the chicks, and remove the other egg. Incredibly sad for Thunder and Akecheta. :-( Link to live cam: 🤍 Presented by Explore.org
